Ingredients   :-  

ghee - 200 gms
edible oil - 200 gms.
semolina (ravo) - 500 gms.  
maida - 500 gms. 
black pepper - 15 - 20
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp.
salt - as per taste
        
Method

1 . Mix semolina and maida.
2 . Add 3 tbsp oil and ghee, salt, black pepper powder and turmeric powder
3 . Knead a dough upto a thick consistency like that of puri.
4 . Make thick puris using a rolling pin and make holes on the puri using the edge of the rolling pin.
5 . Deep fry the puris in the mixture of remaining ghee and oil.
6 . Serve tasty, crisp puris with hot tea.

Ingredients  :- 
  
  chopped tomatoes -  500 gms.
  white vinegar - 1 tbsp.
  garlic  -  15 -20 cloves (paste)
  ginger - 1 inch (paste)
  jaggery - 50 gms.
   cinnamon - 1/2 inch
  cloves - 5 - 6
  salt - as per taste
  red chilli powder - i tbsp.
  
 


                                                                                                                  Method- 

 1 . Boil tomatoes and mash them. 
 2 . Add all the above mentioned ingredients into the mixture and boil until it thickens.
 3 . Let it cool then store in an air tight jar.
 4 . Serve this chutney with Batakawada,

Ingredients   :-  

ghee - 1 cup
besan - 2 cups 
 sugar - 2 cups   ( powdered)
milk - 1 tbsp
Cardamom - 3 - 4 (powdered) 
almonds - 4 -5 (chopped)
charoli (chironji) - 8 - 10
 
          -
Method

1 . Add 1 tbsp. milk and 1 tbsp. ghee into besan and mix thoroughly and sieve it.
2 . Heat ghee in a kadai, add besan and roast on low flame until it turns pink and gives aroma.
3 . After it cools add powdered sugar and cardamom powder
4  .Grease a plate with ghee and spread it evenly.
5 . Garnish with almonds and charoli and cut into pieces.
6 . My mother in law makes small laddus as prasad everyday for our Thakorji.
7 . All Vaishnav households call it samagri for Thakorji and prepare it daily.

Ingredients   :-  

ghee - 300 gms
semolina (ravo) - 1 cup
mung daal flour - 1 cup
udad daal flour - 1 cup
besan - 1 cup 
khoya (mavo) - 1 cup
 sugar -  3 cups ( powdered)
 cashew nuts - 1/2 cup (coarsely crushed)
almonds - 1/2 cup (coarsely crushed)
pistachio - 1/2 cup (coarsely crushed)
Cardamom - 3 - 4 (powdered)
 
          -
Method

1 . Heat ghee in a kadai and add all the flour and roast on low flame until it turns pink and gives aroma.
2 . Empty the roasted flour into a large plate and roast khoya for 5 minutes.
3 . Mix roasted khoya into the flour. 
4 . After it cools add sugar, crushed cashew nuts, almonds, pistachio and cardamom and make laddus.
5 . Tasty laddus are ready to serve.

Ingredients   :-  

ghee - 300 gms
semolina (ravo) - 1 kg.
 sugar -  400 gms. ( powdered)
 sesame seeds - 2 tbsp.
dried coconut - 1/2 (thickly grated)
Cardamom - 3 - 4 (powdered)
 
          -
Method

1 . Add 2 tbsp. ghee in selimona and knead a dough like that of puri.
2 . Make muthias and deep fry in oil until they turn pink.
3 . After they cool break them into small pieces and grind into fine powder.
4 . In a large bowl beat sugar and ghee using your hand for a long time.
5 . Add selimona, roasted sesame seeds. grated coconut and cardamom powder and again beat for sometime and then make laddus.
6 . Yummy authentic Surti laddus recipe.People offer these laddus as prasad to Lord Ganesha.

Ingredients   :-  

Milk - 1 litre
Almonds - 20
cashewnuts -  20
pistachios - 10
black pepper - 10
 sugar -  100 gms ( powdered)
 Khas khas - 2 tsps.
melon seeds - 25 gms.
fennel seeds (saunf) - 2 tsps.
Cardamom - 10 
rose essence - 1/4 tsp.(white)
 
         
Method

1 . Heat  milk in a vessel and keep aside to cool.
2 . Mix all the above ingredients except sugar into a fine powder.
3 . Add powdered sugar, rose essence and the mixture into the milk and use a blender to mix it thoroughly to dissolve the lumps.
4 . Place the thandai into the fridge for 5 - 6 hours and serve.Garnish with rose petals.
5 . Thandai is usually prepared during Shivratri and Holi. During the dry winds on the onset of summer it makes us feel cool and it has many other health benefits also.

Ingredients   :-  

ghee - 200 gms
dates - 500 gms.(seedless)
kharek - 100 gms. (powdered) 
singada flour - 1 cup
besan - 2 tbsp.
Almonds - 1/2  cup (coarsely crushed)
cashewnuts - 1 cup (coarsely crushed) sugar -  1 cup ( powdered)
melon seeds - 1 cup (coarsely crushed) 

 
         
Method

1 . Heat  ghee in a deep kadai and roast singada flour and besan until it turns pinkish in colour.
2 .  Chop dates into small pieces and saute in ghee until they soften and keep aside till it cools down.
3 . Add crushed almonds, cashewnuts, melon seeds, roasted flour and sugar.
4 . Mix properly and make laddus
